1.Laos Railway Tickets Easily: Avoid Long Queues & Wasted Time

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 14 reviews · from $8Our pick

You arrange a Laos Railway e-ticket through BCFamilyTour.com and receive it by email or WhatsApp. Daisy and the local support team can help with timing, route advice, discounts, and related services. The service is especially useful when station tickets sell out or stations sit far from town.

“Although there's a small mark-up on the price of a ticket by using this booking service, it's well worth it. We simply made our ticket requests (Two in total: Luang Prabang to Vang Vieng, and Vang Vieng to Vientiane), and 3 days before the departures the tickets were texted to me. No time wasted! :)”

6.Day Trip Vientiane – VangVieng by Express Train

★★★★★★★★★★3.5 · 4 reviews · 9 hours · from $177

Take a nine-hour small-group trip from Vientiane to Vang Vieng by train, with hotel transfers, Tham Nangfa or Angel Cave, Blue Lagoon, and a 30-minute Nam Song River boat ride. English-speaking guides such as Say and Saku lead the day. Bring your passport, swimwear, towel, and comfortable shoes.

“It wasn’t so good an experience. It was a rip off for the price they charged. The guides were nice and very accommodating but the English was poor. I had to google a lot of the information. They only spend about 1/4 of the price on the actual trip. Everything else goes to overhead. It’s better to do the trip on your own and save some money. It’s not worth paying so much for a guide that doesn’t add much value other than reservations and transportation. The price for it wasn’t worth it.”
